Dr. Chris Huff graduated with his Masters in Religious Education from Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, GA and with his Doctorate in Theology from Temple Baptist University in Westlake, LA. He has also had formal training in Biblical Counseling.  

He served for five years as an assistant pastor, before establishing his first church in Northern Michigan.  He became the Pastor of Bible Baptist Church in 1989.  Since then the Church has enjoyed a period of continued growth and blessing.  He and his wife have two daughters.  

The church met for the first time August 10, 1975, in a storefront on Irving Park Road in Chicago, IL. Its roots lay in a Bible study of Public High School kids who had been led to the Lord in the early 70s. 

They soon outgrew the storefront and needed a church building. Settling in Des Plaines for time, it was there in September of 1989 that  Pastor Chris Huff was called to pastor the church.  As the church continued to grow; Sunday School classes, Jr. Church classes, nurseries and a bus ministry were added to help reach souls for the Lord. 

We praise the Lord for what He has done and continues to do. We are in need of more space in spite of the purchase of the property next door, but we are confident the Lord will provide. We invite you to join us on Sundays or Wednesdays.
